The Castleberry Cares Health and Community Resource Fair is a FREE COMMUNITY EVENT open to everyone within the surrounding Castleberry ISD community, and will feature activities, information and resources for adults and children. In addition to education, the goal of the event is to help our neighbors connect with the many health, safety, social service programs, resources and providers in our area.

Castleberry Cares will be laid out according to the map above. Volunteers and staff will be present to guide guests. 

  • The bounce house will be in the track and field complex
  • The Ft. Worth Vaqueros Soccer Clinic will be at W.O. Barnes Stadium
  • Vendors will be in the North Gym
  • Food trucks will be in the Athletics Complex parking lot
  • Mobile exhibits will be in the North Gym parking lot
  • CTE exhibits will be in the CTE building
  • Visitors parking will be in front of CHS
  • Exhibitors parking will be at the Strength and Conditioning building
  • Overflow parking will be at the Technology building
  • There will be parking for workers/volunteers behind CHS.

Health Screenings

The Texas Health Wellness for Life Mobile Health Unit will be at Castleberry Cares from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. providing health screenings. Available screenings are:

  • Mammograms
  • Well Woman Exams (PAP)
  • Take home colon cancer test kits

To make an appointments call 1-855-318-7696 Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please bring your insurance card and drivers license or state issued ID with you to your appointment. Fully funded mammograms are available to those who qualify.

Eligibility for Mammogram Screening
  • Women 40 years of age and older
  • Have no personal history of breast cancer
  • Do not have breast implants
  • Have no known breast lumps or other breast problems
  • Are not pregnant or haven't breast fed in the last 6 months
  • Have not received a mammogram in the last 12 months

Course: The run will start in the gravel lot across from the CHS competition gym. We will run East on the levee, cross Isbell, proceed through the old restaurant parking lot and continue on the levee path. At approximately a mile the course will make a left turn up the hill and proceed back West toward CHS across the top of the grass levee. Once the course reaches Churchill Road the course will go around the south end of CHS and continue on the back drive behind the high school where participants will enter the double gate onto the track and will then turn right and have approximately 250 yards to run on the track to the finish line.
