Family Science Night
Family Science Night
Posted on 05/09/2017
Students at Play Students' imaginations were ignited as A.V. Cato hosted Family Science Night on April 25, 2017. Our Science Night was sponsored by the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Hands-on science activities were available for all ages. Families experimented tower building, aero dynamic wind tunnel simulator, a demonstration showing the chemical reaction between dry ice and water, pvc pipe construction and much more! Families were also able to experience a state of the art planetarium show. The show brought our universe to life as planets, stars and galaxies danced above their heads. Students stood in awe at what the planetarium show had to offer, a glimpse in to outer space!
A.V. Cato strives to provide events which allow parents and students to learn together, creating lifelong memories and experiences. This occasion accomplished that and more! Thank you to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History for giving us the opportunity to create an event such as this one.
