Having fun at A.V. Cato

So many fun happenings have taken place at AV Cato recently. Our campus has especially focused on improving attendance for our students, and kids who came to school the last couple of six weeks got to participate in fun activities such as pie-ing Dr. Turner in the face, taping Dr. Turner to the wall, and eating lunch with Dr. Turner. Our Assistant Principal is such a good sport!

During the month of March, we also had Open House, Career Day, and our second annual Family Informational Fair for families to learn about STAAR testing.

We also had many grades go on field trips! Our students had so much fun at places like the Fort Worth Zoo, the Dallas Arboretum, and Fort Worth Bass Hall. Activities like these are fun but at the same time enriching for our students.

We have a few more exciting events coming up before the end of the school year, including our on-campus Science Night and our annual Family Game Night, so be sure to stay tuned!
