kidblog writing rubric

Summary In math, students created and posted their own word problems on their KidBlog blog. Once student word problems were posted their peers commented to their blogs by solving the problem (give step by step) and provide feedback to the word problem author/creator. The author then evaluates the students reply (answer) by either congratulating their peer or providing guiding feedback on how to correctly solve the problem.
Rubric Student Products https://kidblog.org/class/mrs-bells-class-16-17/posts Reflection: Overall this task was great because students had to use skills from other areas of instruction to complete the assignment. GT students were able to choose the type of word problem they generated. Students were able to orally tell me their problems. Students solved generated word problems that were published and students who generated were given feedback. I also gave students as assigned partner they were to provide feedback to and included a rubric for the feedback. Next year I plan to have my students share work with students at another campus.
