Mrs. De La Cruz's Wish List 2015-2016
I have completed 4 years of teaching in Castleberry ISD as a 1st grade teacher. In these 4 years, I have transformed the classroom to incorporate technology into the student learning environment. This includes flipping the classroom for homework lessons and incorporating blogging experiences in the classroom.
I graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in May 2012 with my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. I went on to attend University of Texas to obtain my Master's Degree in Education and Curriculum focused on Triple Literacy and graduated in May of 2016. This year, I started attending University of Texas at Tyler to obtain my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership with an anticipated graduation date of May 2018.
I am a life long learner and embrace hobbies such as reading books that will enhance my knowledge of teaching, looking on Pinterest for new teaching and technology ideas, and looking at posts on Twitter. I also enjoy exploring a new website or app and finding ways to incorporate those into the classroom, and then sharing with other teachers.
