Highlighted Lesson

I have chosen to highlight a technology lesson using Kidblog. Below I have provided the link to the directions, sample answers, and my responses to the chosen answers. The 2nd grade learning objective addressed: The student will investigate and record some of the unique stages that insects undergo during their life cycle.

Lesson Reflection
I'm really happy with the responses that I received for this particular lesson. The responses were well thought out and show how far these students have come using Kidblog. I slightly altered the rubric for this lesson for the specific things I was looking for in particular. The students referenced the rubric as they created their responses. I loved watching the students work together and help each other. I was happy to see that students even wrote a draft of their responses on paper before typing it out. I do think that next year I will add another dimension to the lesson. I would like to have students include reflections about our classroom butterflies through their life cycle changes.
