 At a Glance...

  • Students will be using place value to read, write, compare, and order whole numbers through the hundred millions place
  • Students will recognize the connection between numbers and their properties and points on a line. The students are expected to locate and name points on a number line using whole numbers
  • Students will use addition and subtraction to solve problems involving whole numbers
  • Students will round whole numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, or thousand to approximate reasonable results in a problem situation
  • Students will model factors and products using arrays and area models
  • Students will represent multiplication and division situations in picture, word, and number form
  • Students will recall and apply multiplication facts through 12 x 12
  • Students will use multiplication to solve problems (no more than two digit by two digit nubmers)
