About Me


I am so excited for this school year. I have been working in education for the last nine years. I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. I have also worked in special education. I think that every child can learn at the highest level. I love being in the classroom. I want my room to be a place that students look forward to coming into. I want  my students to discover an adventure in reading, and be able to write to express themselves. Social Studies will be a journey through our Texas history.

 I grew up in Missouri, outside St. Louis. I have been married for the last twenty years. We moved to Texas 18 years ago. We have two children a girl who is a freshmen in high school. We have a son who is in the 7th grade. My daughter Josie, rides horses and son Jake, plays baseball. We love to be outside as a family. Baseball is a large part of our life. We are either at a riding event or baseball game on the weekends. We love our trips to the beach and our visits back to Missouri.
