Welcome to Mr. Moran's class!
The summer is almost over, and it's time to head back to school. For you fourth-greaders, that means it's time to move on up to A.V. Cato Elementary!
Starting at a new school can be both exciting and a little bit scary. But not to worry - we will spend much of the first few days getting to know our way around, and I will make sure it's a smooth ride all the way to the end of the year.
In order to make that first day a smooth one, parents, please try to stick to the following:
- Make sure your student gets a good night's sleep the night before school begins. This might be easier if you start getting them back on schedule a week early.
- Please try to arrive a few minutes early, to give everyone enough time to find where they need to be (for a lot of parents, it's their first time at A.V. Cato, too!) and give you enough time to say goodbye on this big day.
- Please be positive and confident that your son or daughter is going to have a successful year - I certainly am!
I'm very excited to have you in La 22 this year, and I look forward to meeting all of you on August 22nd!
