A.V. Cato Elementary services students grades Pre Kindergarten through Fifth grade. 
School Hours

First Bell     7:50am
Tardy Bell   8:00am
Dismissal   3:15pm
 Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Round Up
 What are the rules? Who qualifies? What is the process?
Parents who have questions regarding Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten are encouraged to attend any of the informational meetings. You may attend any of the following regardless of your home campus.

Tuesday, April 29, 2014 6pm-7pm at Joy James Elementary
Thursday, May 1, 2014  2pm-3pm at A.V. Cato Elementary
Friday, May 2, 2014 7pm-8pm at Castleberry Elementary

The district has offered a variety of dates and times for your convenience.  

2013-2014 Enrollment Procedures 
Certified copy of student's birth certificate
Student's social security card
Valid immunization record
Parent's driver license or photo ID
Proof of residency is required for all students (i.e. current water, gas, or electric bill)
New students: previous school records and report card from previous district. 
Child Nutrition
Children need healthy meals to learn.Castleberry Independent School District offers healthy meals every school day.
Breakfast cost $1.00 at Elementary and Secondary campuses.
Lunch cost $2.00 at Elementary and Secondary campuses.
